How should I share links to UT Libraries' resources?

Often, we need to share online resources with colleagues, research partners, or classmates. This can sometimes be tricky! UT Libraries resources are typically paid subscriptions, so the publisher or vendor needs to know that the user is valid and associated with our subscription. Whoever you share the link with needs to be properly authenticated as a UTK user.

The best way to accomplish this is to share permalinks or friendly URLs. This is especially important when sharing off-campus.

Never share the link from your browser address bar. This often causes authentication errors with publishers and vendors.
