How can I access online library resources from off-campus?

Answer

To access our online resources (electronic resources), search for resources on OneSearch. Whether you are on- or off-campus, you will be prompted to log on with your UT NetID and password. If you are experiencing issues with your NetID login, please review the linked FAQs below.

Access to UT Libraries online purchases and subscriptions is restricted to current Faculty, Staff, and Students. Please review our Electronic Resource Use Policy for more information.

Want to search outside of OneSearch?

LibKey Nomad - We highly recommend LibKey Nomad, a browser extension that links articles you find on scholarly websites to UT Libraries online subscriptions, print holdings, or open access versions. Follow this video tutorial to learn how to connect Libkey Nomad to UT Libraries.

Google Scholar - You can configure your Google Scholar settings to display the FullText@UT Libraries link in your search results. Follow this video tutorial on how to configure Google Scholar with Library Links.

If you are experiencing issues accessing resources, please get in touch! You can Ask Us Now or use our Libraries Contact form.
