Q. How do I access my library account and/or change my password?

Access Issues:

If you are a student, faculty, or staff then your library account log in is your NetID and password (the same as your email or myutk account). To reset it, you need to go through OIT. If you have been through that process and still can't log in, please contact Public Services.

If you are a community member with a donor or courtesy card, then your log in is your email and then a password you set yourself (it usually is the barcode on your card, but you are able to change it upon first logging on). The Public Services desk is able to reset that for you.


To log in to your library account follow the steps listed below.

From the Libraries Main Website:

First click the OneSearch button to get into the portal.


Next, click the Guest Account button in the top, right-hand corner. Then Sign-in.


Login with your NetID and password.

Once logged in your page should look like this:


Click on your name, then click on the “My Account” Link in the top right corner of the screen:
