If an item you need is checked out, you may place a recall on it by clicking the "Physical Item" request option under the "Get It" tab. This changes the original due date to 10 days from the day the item is recalled. Once returned, the item will be held at the Public Services desk for you to pick up and you will be notified by email.

If the item you need is missing, lost, has not been returned when recalled, or if you need it sooner than the recall period allows, you may request the item through Interlibrary Services. Be sure to note in the request form if our copy of the item is missing, lost, or checked out.  Interlibrary Services asks that you allow 1 to 3 weeks for delivery time. As a matter of policy, class textbooks are not eligible for interlibrary loan.


If a book you have checked out is overdue by 21 days, it will be marked as lost. At that time, a fine of $70 will be placed on your account. If you are able to return the lost item, that fine will automatically be canceled. If you have questions or concerns, please contact the Public Services Desk at 865-974-2100.
