Q. How do UT Libraries compare to libraries of other large Universities?

Answer

Since 2003, the Association of Research Libraries has calculated the Library Investment Index, which is “a measure of relative size” and investment among peer institutions that does not serve to measure the quality or success of a library’s services. By this measure, the UT Libraries ranks 23rd among U.S. Public University libraries, and 44th among all association members. See our Library Statistics page for more information and quick facts.
